The whole budget makes me sad for our kids. Oregon really needs some changes to the way their taxation works, but instead they keep trying bandaid approaches instead of taking the time and effort to fix the system as a whole. :( sadly, I see it getting even worse before it ever gets better. :(

Thanks, W. No I don't feel critiqued at all. And I agree 100% that we're not getting at the root of the problem, and we really really need to do that. And like you I think that we're a long way from having the gumption to do it. I don't know what it's going to take, but I think it will at least partly involve things getting a lot worse for a lot more people. :(
