She's back!

Just like a cat, she appeared out of nowhere, sitting in the corner of the yard observing the neighborhood as if it were her evening habit. Thing is, she's an indoor cat.
She seems to have survived 7 hours outside relatively unscathed, although one eye seems runny but that happens a lot anyway.
God, I'm so glad she's back.

Date: 2006-06-15 03:53 pm (UTC)Actually, she was gone for 7 hours, it just took me 5 hours to realize I hadn't seen her in a while. In my defense, she is a cat, and can hide in the house for easily 4 hours at a time, but I should have realized when she didn't come out to see the baby at mealtime that something wasn't right. So, guiltguiltguilt.

Glad she's back.

Date: 2006-06-15 03:56 pm (UTC)We've had outdoor cats go missing for a day or two before, but I've never lost an indoor cat like that. I felt like I'd let her down, since she lacks "street smarts." She was fine, though.
I'm glad she's back, too!
Your PePe LePew is adorable, and seems quite appropriate!
