Just like a cat, she appeared out of nowhere, sitting in the corner of the yard observing the neighborhood as if it were her evening habit. Thing is, she's an indoor cat.

She seems to have survived 7 hours outside relatively unscathed, although one eye seems runny but that happens a lot anyway.

God, I'm so glad she's back.

That was what, 45 minutes? Nothing to sneeze at. We one lost a cat for a weekend. You had it easy.

Whew!

My parents' cat once disappeared for four days. He was trapped in some neighbor's shed.

Glad she's back.

Oh god - not knowing where your cat is can be one of the most horrible things. I'm so happy for you (and her!) that she's back & safe!
Do you know why her eye is runny? Out kitty Hector has ocular herpes which causes that, but now him mom just gives him a 1/8 tsp. crushed lysene-l every day; it seems to help.
