More briefness
Apr. 25th, 2006 08:09 pmThe home-buying process seems to be going well. We're about two weeks away from closing on the new house right now, if all continues to go well. The inspection was fine, only one moderate issue and the sellers were already beginning to deal with that, so yay for that.
Here are some more pictures of the place, if you're interested.
A brief health update -- I'm mostly over my sinus infection. The weather has been great for several days now and I'm starting to feel more normal, which reminds me that it's time to figure out how to spend the first three months of every year here. It's a dry, sunny heat. And wow I could use that every January, February, and March. Depression sucks. 'Nuff said about that.
I'll try to update again next week -- Mom's in town this week and we're busy doing things.

Date: 2006-04-26 03:29 am (UTC)If, like me the last two years, you spend the entire winter indoors and more or less at home all/most of the day, you might seriously want to consider getting a "light therapy box". I paid $300 for one from Alaska (because if anyone knows the need, a company in Alaska would ;-) and it was worth every penny.
Congrats on the new house! I must have missed the post where you made the offer :)
