Well, that'll get the ticker pumping
Dec. 8th, 2005 08:30 amBooted the Dell this morning and got a blue screen. My breath stopped, my eyes got big, my mouth fell open. It was totally cartoony. Something about an error in win32k ??? It told me to try restarting, so I did, and it worked, but it's got me thinking ... we need to back up our data in case of catastrophe. What's the best way to do this? We've got two other computers on a wireless network -- another Dell ( a laptop) and a Mac. There are compatibility issues with the mac, of course, and the laptop's harddrive isn't beg enough to hold all the data, I don't think (I'll be checking soon.) Are there great big external USB harddrives? Something like that would work. What else is out there?
Thanks, everyone. Hope your morning is going well.

Or just buy a huge hard drive to stick in one of the computers, and share it for backup purposes.
