Update on the experiment

Last Monday I posted that I'd be spending less time online in order to see if I could get more things done. Well, happily, I did get more things done, but I discovered that even with "intention," I still couldn't get everything done. I've got days and in some cases months worth of stuff to catch up on, so I'm going to continue my online hiatus a while longer.

Accomplishments:
Bought and constructed Maggie's high chair!
Started feeding Maggie rice cereal!
Bought and constructed Maggie's crib!
Cleaned out two cabinets and put a bunch of stuff away!

I'll be reading my friends page, but not much more, for the next few weeks.

Oh, and I suspended my NYTimes subscription, too, so's to have more time for catching up. Sigh.

Yay for being productive! Don't get too overwhelmed though, and don't forget to ask for help if you need it. Take one thing at a time. Etc. You're a smart lady and I know you'll get through everything.

I don't think we can do lunch today, but I really would like to see you again before I leave. Do you think you can make another excursion downtown in the next week or two?

Thanks! Every little bit of productive helps ease the overwhelmed feeling I've been having for a while, now. It helps to be able to look at an area or two in the house and *not* see more work to do!

Maggie's morning nap imploded, so now the rest of the day is a crapshoot, anyway. I'm such a terrible mother, I've set her in front of a Baby Einstein video so I can get a few minutes of "me" time. She seems to like it.

This week is looking pretty full, with the possible exception of tomorrow. Next week is open except for Thursday, though, so let's make a plan.
