It's the pretentiousness of it. I'm looking for a change, too, but I thik it would be better for both the parent and the child for the parent (and eventually, the child, too) to do the painting. I'm concerned that some will think that just because they've spent $100 on someone else's studies in green and yellow that they are providing something "better" for their child.
Also, the sales language kinda bugs me: "Children grow so fast and a few good color and style choices in the beginning can make all the difference." Balderdash.
Hmmm, you almost seem bitter about the whole thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that way. It's just a higher end design product, just as all the stuff at places like PoshTots.com is. Now, *that* stuff is mind-boggling!
Ah, yes, I have seen that site before! Way more money than I care to spend, though very little of the stuff is to my taste anyway. Entertaining, though.
