1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.

2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.

3. Include these instructions, and share the love.

Edited because I had the wrong LJ username above. :-O

No, mine was beautiful, but not that beautiful.

Wedding cake is just one of my favorite things. I'd get one every year, if I could. I liked the meme, so I searched out a wedding cake. I should give credit where it's due, it's from this site:

How expensive is one? Cuz else I'd say you just invented yourself a new New Yera's Eve traditional food.

Oh, the sky is the limit, of course. I might be able to get a smallish one for $75-$100. That one pictured is probably about $400-$600.

Maybe for our anniversary next year. Something to save up for. :)

Some bakeries will make a replica of the top of your wedding cake for anniversaries. Christian and I did that one year and it was goooood. Cost about $20, I think.

Oooh, I like that idea very much! (Also the price!) Do you remember which bakery you used? (We got married in Indiana, so using the same bakery isn't very practical.)

It was Beaverton Bakery. We didn't get our wedding cake there--we had it made by a lady who was recommended by a friend. But we just went into Beaverton Bakery and picked one out that resembled our wedding cake, so we could have fancy chocolate cake for our anniversary. :-)
