Book recommendations wanted

 Darling Daughter keeps bringing home school library books way above her reading level and having to return them within 4 days.  This week she brought home one of the Warriors series which we haven't even had a chance to crack open.  An anyone recommend similar books that are more at a first grade reading level?  She's already read the Catwings series by Ursula LeGuin (a couple times, she loves them).

Did she read the Mercy Watson books by Kate DiCamillo (and are they too "young" for her already)?

You could check the CYBILS lists - there's a category for easy readers and early chapter books this year!

Thanks, Kelly! Haven't checked out Kate DiCamillo or the CYBILS list yet! I also think a trip to the library or bookstore together is in order, but I want to have some idea what to look for first.
