There is no sigh loud enough

Exactly two sinks in our home are functional. They are both downstairs. Three holes in bathroom counters exist upstairs, but none yet contain sinks, let alone functional ones.

But that's not the real pisser. The real pisser is that our stove is sitting in our television room, where it was abandoned this morning by the installer who declined to install it. See, we need a gas line run under the house in order to use the new stove. The installer looked at our crawlspace and the puddles of moisture in it here and there, and stated that "it's not our policy" to install where there is standing water. He advised me to call a plumber, then left.

I cannot cook. I cannot even drink tea. This sucks.

I'm just ticked. Not quite pissed, because I was expecting something to go wrong today, but ticked.

I know it sounds like I'm pouting now, but I really don't like tea made with microwaved hot water. It just never seems right.

You did remind me, though, that way back in the old days before I had a microwave or a teakettle, I used to make tea in my coffee pot. I will do that now. Thanks!
