I should have seen this coming, I've known that they made the Mafia look like gentlemen for nearly 3 years now, but I got caught off my guard this morning. Still, I'm pretty sure the six thousand dollars they are trying to charge us to close out our mortgage (so we can refinance) is illegal.

God, I've spent all morning outraged or on the phone. I didn't even get lunch and now it's time to entertain the child for the next 6 hours. Some days I really really hate being an adult.

You know, days like this it's ok to take a parental pass and let the child play on the computer or watch a dvd (or heck, the two of you could watch a movie together;)).

So sorry to hear about that annoying (most likely illegal) piece of news.

We went for a long-overdue haircut (hers, still need to get to mine) and just sitting doing nothing for a couple of minutes helped me get over the homicidal rage, at least. I am really looking forward to some personal time next week, though.
