Last night I began a meditation routine loosely based on Tricycle's Big Sit, a challenge(?) to meditate 20 minutes a day for 90 days.  I totally cheated last night by meditating in bed for 10 minutes right before going to sleep, but my Sit buddy, [livejournal.com profile] hhw , said that was okay in a pinch, and some days are pinched.  Like yesterday and today and tomorrow and Sunday.  And, you know, most days ending in "day." 

Today I took Maggie to her first Yard, Garden, and Patio Show.  We had fun, and she wore me out of course.  Got a few ideas for the yard, most of which are too ridiculously complicated and expensive to ever implement, but it's fun to dream. 

There's more to tell but I'm wiped out and I had a bourbon sour with dinner, which means that writing and meditation, among other things, are impaired.  So I'll try to get to posting more tomorrow.

I went to bed at 7pm and did my 10 minutes there, too. I suspect this day ending in "y" will follow a similar pattern...
