Okay, today was all about the sucky parts of being an adult. (Not that I exhausted the list by any means, just that my experiences were concentrated there.) Looking forward to some opportunities for the good parts of being an adult.
Closing on a positive note
because I believe it will help me start tomorrow on a positive note ....
Had a great evening hanging and doing not much (but eating! birthday! cake! and ice cream!) with friends this evening, it really helped the day feel a whole lot less catastrophic. Now if I can just get some sleep tonight and until a reasonable 7:00 tomorrow morning (I know, too much to ask, but I'm putting it out there), maybe I will be civil tomorrow.
Another good thing -- the sun will shine this weekend! Temperatures will stay cold, but at least it will be sunny, so yay!
