Parents' flight from MSP (layover, not home) is cancelled.

Brother's flight from LAX still scheduled, but he has forgotten his passport to get into Canada for the second leg of his vacation and he wants it to be cancelled.  

Status of the Christmas turkey -- unknown.

Oh yeah, we have a Tofurkey for the vegetarians among us (the Swedes) but no other Christmas food, never mind a real turkey :p

We're supposed to be picking up from New Season's, but I doubt we can get there. I'll be calling them in a few minutes.

The weather is sure throwing a kink in people's plans! Can't your brother get someone to fedex his passport?

The only one with a key to his apt is his housekeeper, he's deciding whether to ask her or not. And he's not entirely certain it is where it should be, in which case he would be sending her there for nothing, or to riffle through all of his belongings in search of it.

Which means, yeah, he booked a flight to Canada and never checked his passport (1) to make sure he could find it and (2) to assure it's not expired. Way to go, Ace.

He boarded his flight and should be on his way now. Now we have to figure out how to get him to the house in a couple of hours.

I'm sorry to hear that! Getting canceled midway there is worse than canceled from the get-go. How awful. I hope everyone makes it to your home safely!

Just wanted to add that I hope you'll keep us updated. I am particularly interested in what's going on with incoming flights. My cousin tried to come up from the bay area two days ago and her flight was canceled twice!
