If you want to see what the past 7 days have been like, just take a look at the next 7 days:

That's right, folks. Over two weeks of sunshine and warm dry days. Golly I love Oregon in September.

I am so ready to have less of that weather, though the dry part might be nice.

The allergic part of me is ready for the rains to start, and the part of me that loves sweaters is ready for cooler weather, but I keep telling them to shut up because once this is gone it's gone for 9 months, so they can just wait.

Why is it so much warmer where you are? It MIGHT hit 80 in the next week. Maybe. Perhaps I should reconsider where I live ...

Check back in June when we're having highs of 68. Maybe then you'll feel better.

Are you referring to this past Junuary? We were in the 50s for much of it. *sob sob*

Junuary. Yes. Although I called it the never-ending April.

Oh, that's right, you're North of me. I forgot. I sure hope next year is better. All the more reason to appreciate the now. :)

I'm soaking it up while I can.

On the other hand, I was sitting cool and pretty while everyone else was pretty much suffering from heat waves this summer. Given that option, I'll take Seattle's cooler temps.

That's true, others had to deal with some pretty brutal temps this summer. Although much of the midwest where my family lives reported a very mild pleasant summer this year. Which sounds nice too.

It only said 89 when I posted last night. Now it says 93. That seems a bit much.
