Look, I know Summer is supposed to be warm, I like warm and look forward to it the other 9 months of the year.

However.

I would appreciate the forecasters trying a little bit harder to actually, well, forecast.  Because, see, I plan around the forecast.  As in, I use it to decide which days I'll cook inside and which I'll cook outside.  And when I'll do laundry and when I'll make the laundry wait.  Because cooking and laundry, they warm up the house, which is great in December or March, but not so nice when it's hot out.  So, when you tell me that Tuesday will be 77 degrees, then Tuesday morning you change it to 80 degrees, but by Tuesday noon the actual temperature is 91, (with four more warming hours to go in the day), well, I get a little hot under the collar.  And everywhere else.

Thank you.

That's why--well, one reason why--I wash everything almost (not towels) in cold water and line dry absolutely everything. Hanging cold damp laundry on the line, cools my arms. Plus when it's 85-90, the stuff is dry in 30 mins or so.

Stay cool!
