Writing check-in again

I hand-wrote again today, about an hour, I don't know how many pages (the notebook is downstairs and I'm too lazy to go get it and come back up.)  I have a lot to say about writing, but I don't know when (or, let's be honest, if) I'll get around to posting it, but for now I will say that I have several hours this week set aside for writing (and reading) and a place where there are other writers present to keep me honest about it.  Based on my experience writing today, I'm feeling good about some actual writing (rather than "space-clearing")* happening very soon.

The weekend: didn't manage to do the writing.  :(

I think better when writing by hand, even after years of computer use. Well, maybe I should say my thinking is different when I'm writing by hand. Better in some ways. I do a ton of revising when I move something from paper to the computer, so it's nice to have the benefit of both ways of thinking.
