Feeling better
Dec. 2nd, 2003 01:08 pmWell, I got my energy back the day after I last posted, but my ability to eat normally has been returning in slow increments. Thanksgiving was good, regardless. I roasted a duck, and made an excellent cranberry chutney-type-thing and a reasonably good (although I need to work on the recipe) rice dressing to go on the side.
On a much more important note, we all have good reasons to be deeply concerned about the next election. Too bad we have to keep our eyes on the foreign press to get much coverage of issues that are this important to the US. (Unfortunately, the Independent article is no longer available free of charge.
