We got an anniversary cake from Beaverton Bakery and it was good. There's nothing like homemade, though. If you really want to make one, let me know and I'll send you a good recipe. Of course it's for chocolate cake--does Eric like that?

I'd like to give baking a cake a try, so send that recipe! (No promises that this weekend will be when I try, though. Maybe, and maybe not.)

I'm all for buying cakes myself. Everytime we had a birthday at the office, the boss would get cake from Beaverton Bakery and they were delicious. If you were over here, though, I would recommend Piece of Cake because their cakes are awesome and the bakery itself is an experience.

We will definitely have to give Piece of Cake a try sometime, just probably not this weekend. It looks great!
