World's Greatest Baby Toy

As I type responses to posts and emails, my daughter sits on my lap and plays with a piece of printer paper she has crumpled.

Until this, she was cranky and complaining today. Now she seems as happy as a clam.

Such skills she has, too! She can pass that piece of paper from one hand to the other and back again. How cool is that?!?!

Babies boggle the mind. One day they are like little slugs who can't do anything, the next day you turn your back for a second and you find that they've managed to chew a hole through a board book and have bits of cardboard covering their hands and face.

Crinkly things like paper or plastic bags are sooo fascinating too. I see now why ALL plastic bags have the warning about them not being toys.

Go Maggie!
