Comparison shopping

About 5 months ago our refrigerator started making horrible noises. After the baby arrived, we called the repair guy, and he told us it would cost as much to fix as to replace. So, for the past couple of weeks, when I've had an opportunity (about 3 times), I've been researching new refrigerators. Today I bought one, and based on my comparison shopping I saved about $200. It's a bit smaller than I had hoped to get, but not enough to make it worth the extra money.

Here it is, if you're interested. :) It's being delivered tomorrow. Time to eat all of the ice cream from the freezer!

Does the larva fit in it? You can never have to many places for napping!

Do you mean the baby? I prefer to think of her as "fruit of my loins," not larva.

Plenty of room for milk, mustard, cheese, and eggs, but no room for napping. Plenty of other places in the house for that.

"Loinfruit" is indeed a preferred term among my friends.

Holy Big Biege Box Batman!

Are you getting the icemaker, btw? I got one of the in-freezer-only models (the dispenser ones always seem to break) and I've been thrilled with it.

I don't think the icemaker was included, and as far as I know the water line hasn't been run back there, so making use of one would require some extra work. It's good to hear that yours is working well, though. I'll know more in a few hours!

My waterline hadn't been run either. I was pretty apprehensive about doing it, but it wasn't that hard in all.
