Discovery day
Jul. 9th, 2004 02:33 pmDiscovery #1: I have more baby clothes (ages 0-3 mos) than will fit in a single load of laundry. Already!
Discovery #2: Dreft laundry detergent smells ghastly.
Discovery #3: If not for China, America's babies would be naked. Almost all items I have are Made in China. (The rest, it seems, are made in Hong Kong.)
Discovery #4: 100% cotton is less common than I had expected
Discovery #5: The softest lint ever in my dryer's lint trap
Discovery #6: I feel like I'm doing someone else's laundry.

Date: 2004-07-09 02:56 pm (UTC)And here's something that didn't occur to me until after the baby came: When you're folding baby's clothes to be put away, don't bother snapping all the snaps and zipping all the zippers. That's just one extra step when you're trying to put a new outfit on a crying baby who just peed all over his/her last outfit.
