Is this a pregnancy dream?

Ugh. I've heard you have weird dreams during pregnancy, but I didn't expect this.

I'll start with my Grandma's Texas Sheet Cake. It's a family favorite that she makes for most of our family gatherings. It's a chocolate cake baked in a shallow pan and topped with a thick layer of super-sweet fudgy icing. It's wonderful.

Unfortunately, it was ruined in last night's dream. In this dream, I cut into the sheet cake to get a slice, and beneath the icing was a layer of onions and green peppers. I realized maybe it wasn't sheet cake at all, but something else. So I asked, and someone said, "that's the plum pudding." I realized the icing was actually more like a pudding skin, and under the onions and green peppers was some sort of beefy-gravied filling. I tried to convince myself that it was not gross, it was just a different food than I expected, but in my dream and even now I cannot get over how gross it was to be met by something so unlike what I expected.

That's not a dream, that's a nightmare.

Yeah, it was horrible, and messed up my day. I'm hoping it doesn't mess up any more days. :-)
