Books Read #13

 13) The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
Wonderful book. Both more and less heartbreaking than I had expected.  I've been looking forward to reading this one for a long time, and I was not disappointed.

I finished reading this book on July 3.

I love this book so hard it's not funny. I listened to Alexie Sherman read it. It is amazing.

I don't usually like audio books -- I have a hard time paying attention to them -- but I bet I'd like this one.

I really liked Absolutely True Diary, too. Your description is right on the money. I read it several years ago and still have strong memories.

That is a really good book.

Isn't it, though? As a writer, it's both inspiring and demoralizing to read a book this good -- inspiring because you want to do something that great, and demoralizing when you realize how hard it is!

Yes, exactly!
