As usual, the hardest thing about writing (once I get past the urge to eat 2,500 calories "for my strength,") is the realization that I'd be so much better at this if I had been doing more of it for the past 20 years or so.  Realizing that it will take me a lot longer to achieve the things I want to do than it would if I had been practicing all this time, and coping with that, because there are SO many things I want to write (and write well) that it's very frustrating to realize that this little "short story" (my favorite writers publish maybe a half dozen or more in a year, as well as letters, articles, and of course that book they're working on) is going to take me another 2-6 months in addition to the 2 months it has already taken.  

But it's cool.

Now, time to eat some more.  :-)

I did read it once, long ago. I'd like to read it again, when I can find it and some time! I remember loving it at the time, but I don't remember much about it now.
