Forehead slap

I forgot I can watch Presidential addresses now!  I didn't even think to put it on the DVR. This new administration is going to take some getting used to.

Heh, heh, I know what you mean. I don't have to avoid these things any more! Whew.

I'd gotten so used to avoiding them I simply ignored them. Now it's, like, extra effort to watch. :)

Did you watch it? It might be on hulu.com.

I missed it altogether. I'll have to look around for clips, at least. Someday when there's time. Right now the sun is out and I'm doing chores and wanting to run and play....

I forgot, too. But also, no matter who is president (and believe me, I am happy about Obama), I'm tired of economic woe. Having a kid in college makes it all too real, especially as we watch her college savings go down the tube along with everything else and me not earning any more than last year. *big sigh*

I'm feeling so glad that we're not having to deal with those expenses yet, and that we haven't lost any of M's college savings, as I had failed to actually start an investment fund for her. Who knew procrastination would save us money?

We all want this to get better soon. The longer it goes on, the worse it will be for everyone, I fear. I know so many people in jobs that may be secure for another year or two, but if others keep losing their jobs during that time, there will be no customers, and thus they'll lose their jobs too.
