Snowed in :-(

The roads between here and daycare are littered with cars and trucks that slid.  Warmer weather is on the way, but probably not until after daycare time.  No physical therapy for me today.  Sigh.

Oh bummer. I didn't realize you were missing physical therapy. Does that mean you just have to wait until your next scheduled appointment, or can you make it up somehow?

I'm hoping I can get in later this week, but they book up pretty well in advance so maybe not. And I don't have an appt next week because I'm seeing the chiropractor and having another test done, and we couldn't find any other time that fit my availability. Such are the drawbacks of half-day childcare. But I know you know what that's like! :) My next appt is scheduled for 2/10.

sorry you are snowed it! It's probably going to be the case here tomorrow - but, since I have 4WD, my boss expects me to be at work - or, since he just lives a few blocks away, he comes & takes me to work (sigh)

Ack! Bosses shouldn't be allowed to live near employees!

I've got 4WD, too, but lots of people around me don't. Hence the sliding of the other cars. :(

LOL - I know! Except he also has the cutest 7 month old son - and I really like him (both son & boss.) He's probably the best boss I've ever had.

And, yes - I think most problems are caused by other drivers/cars. I am super careful and try to give everyone lots of room!

Stay safe!

You, too! We're doing fine, it's melted off now and isn't supposed to freeze again this week. I hope your commute tomorrow is safe!

Glad you're out from under it! And, I'll be safe, thanks! :^D

I went out at 10 and didn't have any troubles...nobody sliding anywhere that I saw. It was 34 degrees at 10 and the stuff on the roads had melted, although big flakes were still coming down.

I think it was sort of a fluke of location. It's extremely hilly between here and the daycare, and not heavily traveled, so I just got stuck without daycare. I'm very disappointed it was my physical therapy day, though, I wanted to do that. Now I have to wait two weeks.
