State of the outdoors

It's snowing.  I don't think it's enough to keep life from going on, though.  I hope not.

It's snowing here too and our schools were closed for teacher work days anyway. Apparently they are sending teachers home at noon today though. Tomorrow is going to be the bummer with a forecast of sleet and freezing rain. I'm hoping that it won't be a full snow day tomorrow but will be a 2 hour delay instead. That will still buy me a break, you see:)

Yuck! Ours is supposed to turn to rain later and then I think stop overnight. Which is good!

Best of luck, I hope you get a break soon. :)

Thanks! I'm trying to just think fun today. We're about to eat lunch and then I'm going out with the kids (their second time out:)).

We'll be playing in the snow soon, before it turns to rain. Which it probably won't until she would have been home from daycare anyway. It's really not that bad, but the particular roads between here and daycare are steep and not heavily-traveled, so they got slick.

This is so my own fault, if I had eaten breakfast on time we would have gotten out the door on time and the roads would have been better. Instead we left 35 minutes late and the roads had gotten slick. Poor planning. Sigh.

:( I hate it when I'm mine own worst enemy (which it feels like I am most of the time:P). Have fun in the snow!

I'm probably overthinking it. Things might have been as bad or nearly so 30 minutes earlier. Or maybe I would have been the one who slid. I'm over it. Mostly. :)

Hey, better to have missed out on the slippery roads altogether, I say! I know what's like to expect to have a free day and have it fall through though.

No *snow* here, just hail and sleet. It'll probably change over to freezing rain :(

Yech! How'd you get hit with the total crap? It's actually kind of pretty here. Though I doubt I'd feel the same if the forecast was worse. :)

I hope you're feeling better today.
