Topsy-turvy

I am still not writing.  This weekend I started playing music (CDs, that is, not actually strumming an instrument) and today I listened to a song in the car and felt curiously pleased by the way its words fit together.  Starting to think about writing again.  In the one minute I have left before I have to go get Miss M from school, I'll say that I think the only way I'll start writing again, and feel good about it, is if I'm willing to just play with fitting words together in pleasing ways for a while.  But who knows, last week I thought I would only be able to do calligraphy because I might never get beyond making a single beautiful letter, now I'm considering not just words but sentences.  Exciting!
