It's on!

I'll be a participant in National Novel Writing Month again this year. I don't expect to win (that is, achieve 50,000 words in 30 days), I've never even come close, and this year my November is full of visitors (the first wave just left, two more waves to go) and important year-end paperwork that will result in $$ lost if I don't do it, not to mention the usual preparations for Santa next month. But I'm still excited to write most every day this month and see what comes of it. I've got a fun idea that has been gestating for several months and now seems a good time to give it some attention.
