It was exquisitely difficult
Feb. 9th, 2005 12:41 pmI think I'm finally over my flu, now. Maggie got a touch of it, but did much better than I did. Thank Goddess Eric didn't get it, he held this house and family together for four days, reinforcing his status as My Hero. He's also been taking a turn with the baby when she wakes up at night (which she still does, often) in order to give me a chance to sleep. This was the first morning in at least two weeks that I woke up *not* feeling like I was losing my mind. Sleep deprivation is a bad, bad thing.
I'd love to say more, but the baby is fussing and my lunch is ready. As usual, she and I need to eat at precisely the same time. I need to figure out how to manage that better.
With luck and perseverance, I may get to post again later today. Don't hold your breath, though.
