My family are so civilized

Mom and Dad are here. Bro arrived last night, too. They all brought slippers with them. They all take off their shoes at the front door and put on their slippers. It's cool.

It's kind of nice having other people in the house, all with our own quirks and needs. But it's nice when they leave me alone, too. Bro and hubby are at a movie, my parents went adventuring downtown. I took a nap, started to catch up on the laundry, emptied the dishwasher, surfed some of my favorite blogs, and now I'm quickly posting here.

So far, so good. Stories to tell (I hope to post in the near future) more funny than bad. Like my Dad buying Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. "He doesn't shop much," Mom said.
