Monday mornings for the past 3 years I have been meeting a group of writers to free-write. It's a great way to start the week.

Quick check-up this afternoon, all is well in babyland. I've gained a couple of pounds (not sure how many, I'm wearing different shoes) and grown a couple of centimeters (in the belly only, unfortunately -- I'll never be any taller) and the pow pow pow of the baby's heart beats about 150 times/minute.
