Metamorphosis

So, I'm not sure, but my novel seems to have gone from being a chick-lit novel about a woman getting married to a young-adult adventure/fantasy overnight.

Actually, I just started over. But I think the adventure has potential. It could be fun. Adventures are supposed to be fun, right? My biggest problem is that my stories always start out so earnest. And especially something like this. I'll have to practice finding that JK Rowling place, where the story can be dark but funny.

I must conquer my earnestness! Because it makes for very dull reading!
