Life, the Universe, and Everything
Forty-two. It's not the answer to It All, it's my age today. Glad to be here, but a little disappointed with myself for not achieving some things I thought I'd have done by now.
Time for cake.

I have to say, I've found 42 a bit boring as numbers go. I definitely prefer odd numbers over even, and I'm looking forward to returning to prime status (43, woo!) in two months and one day.

A while back I had a thing about what I'd accomplished and I asked others to join me. It was interesting to see what people had really done. You may not have achieved some things you thought you should have by now, but I'll bet you've done a heck of a lot.

I think some sort of assessment is in order. I've done a lot, but not so much what I set out to do. I'm not going to spend a lot of time crying about it, but sometimes regret sneaks up on me, you know? Looking at where I am and where I want to go from here is more important.

And I bet there are a lot of things you've accomplished that you hadn't planned on. :)

Are you feeling better?

(I figured as I was all ! on my last comment I'd keep with the theme)
Actually yeah, I'm feeling better. Thanks for asking.
