Idiosyncracies
Aug. 1st, 2008 10:08 pmI really cannot stand to have anyone touch my toenails. I love a foot massage, but don't want anyone touching my toenails. I think it's because I read about some sort of torture involving bamboo shoots beneath finger and toenails when I was in my formative years, and it warped me (much of my public school experience warped me in similarly useless ways.) I don't know if it's because of this discomfort or in spite of it that a fish pedicure sounds positively heavenly, all I know is I want one.

Of course, in a pedicure, there's orange sticks and other devices that would probably send you into convulsions, so I'll just stop right there.

As for toenail touches, what bugs me is any kind of pushing on them in any direction. If that's ever happened in a foot massage, what came before blissed me out enough that I didn't notice.
