Heehee--test of reading attention, you fail! :-) I'm giving a copy of The Hearts of Horses to someone in honor of Buy a Friend a Book Week. You were my only commenter, but actually I was thinking of you when I decided to have a contest (I would have been fair if there was more than one commenter, honest!) because I think you'd like the book. No fantasy at all! (That's one place where your tastes and mine differed, I loved fantasy as a kid, though now I can only abide a very select sub-set of it.) So I'll order Hearts of Horses from Chapters or your Canadian online retailer of choice or Powell's if they're the only ones that have a copy.
