Last night I ended up buying eggs from the Plaid Pantry on the corner. I got home and discovered about half of them were broken. I wish I had done more shopping before the snow, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad!
This one really caught me off guard. We've had so many false alarms this year, I just shrugged off the forecast and didn't worry about it. It didn't help that Tuesday is my regular shopping day. Now I see we may be iced in tomorrow morning, so we're definitely going to venture out today to get what we can. Unfortunately, not from our usual stores, because they're too far -- we're going to the nearest store and stocking up.
