Go, me!!

I'm 40 today. Got a breakfast migraine while out enjoying one of my favorite eateries with Eric. Luckily, my migraines have little to no pain associated with them, just disturbing visual...disturbances.

Feeling mostly better an hour later, we bought me some new shoes at Nordies. Yay! Pastrami sandwiches for lunch, cupcakes to share with Maggie when she gets home, and now an hour to take a nap or catch up on stuff before going to get her.

My delightful daughter wished my "Happy Birthday, Mama!" at least a half dozen times this morning, each time with a giggle or a hug or both. I couldn't ask for a better present.

They say life begins at 40. I say, "let's go!!"

The 40s are great! Like the 30s except better ... well, not the inexorable aging part ... but the rest of it is cake!
