Crystal gazing

Prediction #1: According to Gas Price Watch, the national average for a gallon of gas is now over $3.00/gallon. I expect we'll be seeing prices in this range for the next 3-4 months, until Louisiana refineries return to normal operations. I'm awaiting news from the refineries (probably 2-4 weeks away) estimating the time to repair.

Comments:
1) We need to reduce our demand for oil. Right now. And permanently.
2) Watch for inflation, especially in the cost of necessities like food, or items shipped from overseas. Watch for airlines declaring bankruptcy. Watch for postal, UPS, and FedEx rates to go up.
