Last month, when we took our wonderful vacation to Napa, we visited an amazing place called Copia, which is dedicated to food in all its glory. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit place, a Disneyland (no, way better) dedicated to the palate. We heard a lecture on Sauvignon Blancs (one of our favorite wines) and got to taste an outstanding Sauv from the Napa area; we had lunch at Julia's Kitchen, one of the restaurants there, and we toured the gardens, which actually supply Julia's Kitchen with delightful flavors, textures, and colors. It was inspirational. One of the best parts of our trip. Makes me wish I lived there so I could get a membership and visit year-round, as of course tastes and exhibits are constantly changing.
