Here we go!

I haven't said anything here in ages! Well, it's summer, the weather has been great, although for some reason my energy is still low a lot of the time.
Eric and I have been turning the backyard into a garden this month. It's looking pretty good, although there is still a long way to go. It didn't take much for it to look better than it did before. The dead grass is gone, the moss is gone, and new plants have been installed. We still need to put in more plants and a walkway, and expand the back porch which is only a dinky 10'x10'. We're going to make it more like 12'x14', which should give us more room for chairs and tables and such. I'll try to get some pictures posted one of these days.
The new Dell laptop is working pretty great, although since all the yardwork I have been neglecting my writing something awful. I wrote today for the first time since June 30. Feels great to be doing it again.
Time for lunch.
